Zero Property Lines in the Marwood Community
(The information below was developed from within Marwood)
Marwood Architectural Review Committee
Some of the homes in the Marwood Community were constructed/built on lots with zero property line. A zero-lot-line house is built right up to, or very near, one edge of the property line. If a prospective buyer is concerned that a property he/she has interest in may be built on a lot with a zero-property line, they should obtain a copy of the Official Plat for that property, prior to purchasing. Your real estate agent should be able to help with the process.
The Official Plat is the ONLY acceptable document to identify the zero property line for properties in the Marwood Community, which will consist of…
· the State of Maryland Professional Land Surveyor’s stamp
· the lot number
· address of the property
· drawings of property lines and the home
· dimensions/measurements of the lot/property size, and
· the home drawn to scale.
